The co-sign.
A co-sign is one person putting their name behind an artist, in public, with a date on it. It cannot be edited afterwards and it does not expire, because the whole value of it is that it was made when it was made.
Members get three a month. That scarcity is deliberate: a co-sign is worth exactly the credibility of whoever signed it, so spending them carelessly costs the signer, not just the artist.
Streaming will tell you what is popular. It cannot tell you who was early, because by the time an algorithm surfaces something, early is over. That is the part we keep.
